Wildcard '/*' icon used for all files

#1

Since Sublime Text 3 final, a wildcard icon ‘/*’ is used for all files.

  • ‘/’ has an established meaning: all files in a directory. This is confusing when shown beside a single file in a tree view like in ST3. '/’ has never been used as a file type AFAIK. Nearly everyone else uses a blank document to show an unknown file type.

  • Common file types like .js, .json and .yaml are missing file type icons

Actually I see the /* marking files it seems to think are code but are otherwise not marked? I get a little square with a bent corner for files it doesn’t seem to know what they are. I also see <> for XML files.
