Disclaimer: here is various Macs High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave 10.14.2. Kindly refer to my feature request (assuming this is an app, rather than a device fail). This may not be fail on other devices/systems, but on our Macs the Gutter number highlights are transient, erratic all-round fail… How to fix or compensate incorrect Gutter selection? Also… How to highlight Gutter Numbers to reflect cursor location, workflow focus?
Incorrect selection 1: Click the line number (in this case “1”) or double click code anywhere on line “1” and Sublime highlights line number “2” in Gutter. “2” is not selected for Copy etc, “1” is selected. Sublime selection display in Gutter is incorrect.

Incorrect selection 2: Selection drag up, only line “1” Gutter shows selection, but both lines “1” and “2” are selected so Sublime selection display in Gutter is incorrect. How to fix incorrect Gutter selection?

Incorrect selection 3: Selection drag down, only line “2” Gutter shows selection, but both lines “1” and “2” are selected so Sublime selection display in Gutter is incorrect. How to fix incorrect Gutter selection?

Incorrect selection 4: Drag to highlight line “1” content. Line “1” correctly displays line selection as highlight in Gutter, but line number is one default color only.
 
NOTE! It may be that the odd line highlights are intended - for example, wt the time of the Great Fire in Pittsburg, auto carriage return on a printing press was a significant innovation. So line highlights are mentioned here as “incorrect” only in reference to Gutter Number highlights. When they rarely appear, Gutter Number color-highlights are always specific to only lines where a cursor is blinking.
Gutter line number color for lines with selection: However, three corrupt and/or totally crappy Gutter failure to display line selection are only half the problem. Where is a theme that colors line number of all lines where text in the line is selected? How are Gutter line numbers colored in the .tmTheme files for all lines with selected text?
