Hi, I’m using Sublime Text 3.2.2, Build 3211 on Windows 10, but whenever I type in Japanese (I use the Google Japanese IME), this is what happens [screenshot]
As you can see, Japanese text is being inputted above the IME composition window at 1/4 size instead of being inputted inline at the cursor’s location at full size. This is cumbersome, hard to see, and makes it irritating to input text in Japanese.
Japanese correctly inputs in an inline manner in every other app that I use. [Comparison screenshot] (Japanese text input in Notepad++)
Is there some way to fix this issue? Thanks.
Note 1: It looks like this person posted the same issue with a Chinese IME, although for them it seems as though the problem went away randomly (I haven’t had the same luck)
Note 2: I also posted this issue on the Sublime Text subreddit here. Someone else with the same Sublime Text version and operating system as me posted that they are able to properly input Japanese text inline, so it appears as though this issue has specific conditions for manifesting (it doesn’t occur for everyone).
