Can't launch trial of Sublime Merge / It keeps asking for license

Hi,

I ran into an issue on my Sublime Merge trial. I played around with it a bit on Friday, and it was working fine. Now after the weekend, I tried to start it again, but it only shows me the “Enter License” window. When I click it away, it just disappears with nothing happening afterwards. The main application itself does not launch.

My operating system is Arch Linux using the package from the official repository.

As far as I understood the trial has no time limit, so how do I skip the license check?

Unwanted dev build upgrade by Ubuntu package manger

I am using Sublime Text "dev" build from the official repository in my Ubuntu virtual machine. [image] At the same time, I would like to try Sublime Merge "stable" build (just because I do not have a license for it). But it shares the same repository with Sublime Text, so it got upgraded to a dev build today (after performing apt upgrade) and asking for a license right after starting.

Ah, could be the case. Thank you. I wasn’t aware of this. I’m using Sublime Text in Dev Build, so it might have updated to a Merge Dev build.
