Bug text highlight

Hi!

Similar to the case reported here, my Sublime text 4126 shows text highlighted, this happens with various filetypes:

Sublime text 4121 => bug text highlight

Hello everyone, today i have update my sublime text from the 4113 to the 4121 version and now a bug is showing. Most of the code in my python program is like selected/highlight, as it’s showing on the screen below: [image] Can you help me solve it? It’s hard now to work with that color on my screen. Thanks in advance.

I’ve uninstalled most packages and I’m not able to get rid of this. Is there anything else I can do?

Provide full package list:
Preferences > Package Settings > Package Control > Settings > installed_packages

And the programming language you wrote in.

Please find my package list below: only 3 packages remain after removing everything else:

The syntax shown in the first post is Java, but the same problem exists with various other types: XML, JSON, even the Sublime settings file.

After a short test: “Highlight Duplicates” does what is says… disable that one.

Thank you for the pointer! I was not aware of the “toggle highlighting” setting of the package - now everything looks as nice as it should again
