Bring back ability to download .deb files

Until recently, the Sublime download page listed .deb files that could be fed to dpkg -i. Now, there is only an apt repository.

I am able to install .deb files, but I cannot add custom repository URLs on my workstation. Could you please bring back the direct link to .deb files?

Dev Build 3133

You can get the latest dev build .deb from https://download.sublimetext.com/latest/dev/linux/x64/deb. It will redirect you to the current file. I will add a .asc GPG signature file for the .deb archives so you can verify they are from Sublime HQ, using the apt GPG key listed on the linux repos docs. Apparently no one uses signed .deb, instead they just sign the apt repo itself.

Hey, I was just trying to downalod the latest Debian file. The link you provided doesn’t seem to be working.

Any other links ?

Why not just provide it in the downlaod page ?

What’s the issue?

1. Navigate to https://www.sublimetext.com/3dev
2. Click on “direct downloads”
3. Click on 64bit .deb (https://download.sublimetext.com/sublime-text_build-3184_amd64.deb)
