Error while copy and paste lines with tabs

Mode Indent using Spaces when you paste the line with tabs replaces all tabs to spaces, not just leading (spacing).

TabNukerNuker: Spaces indentation without breaking tabs

Sublime's spaces indentation mode is a hack that just replaces tabs with spaces. Always. It's literally impossible to input a tab while in spaces mode. It even messes with the contents of a paste, turning tabs into spaces (And breaking workflows involving tables and regex). This is something a text editor Should. Not. Do. Please add a real indent with spaces mode

translate_tabs_to_spaces is the devil. It's enabled when you press Indent with spaces, and the description in the preferences file says: Set to true to insert spaces when tab is pressed But that's not what it does is it? Instead it's a naive hack that turns any and all tabs into spaces, indentation or otherwise, whether the tab key is involved or not.
