I installed sublime in Xubuntu 16.04. My system is globally configured to use US International keyboard, I just have 1 layout configured and it works everywhere but in sublime, instead of single quotes ’ I get ´ and ¨ instead of double quotes. This is a clean OS installation and a clean sublime installation without any plugin. Sublime version: Sublime Text 3, Build 3126, but tried other v3 builds without any effect.
Can anyone help please?

open the ST console and type sublime.log_input(True) Enter, and then press your single and double quote keys and ST will show you what it sees. Could just rebind the ST keymappings if it’s wrong.

Hi @kingkeith, thanks for your reply, I did what you said, this is what I get after pressing the single quote key: chr evt: ´ (0xb4) and for double quotes: chr evt: ¨ (0xa8). What should I do here? I’m still confused, I removed ~./config/sublime-text-3 uninstalled/installed sublime several times without any luck.
