Word Wrapping in ST2

#1

Is there a way to turn word wrap off for all tabs by default in Sublime Text 2 (alpha)? I am using the latest dev build.

Thanks!

Have a look at the “word_wrap” setting in Default File Preferences

Ah thanks, sorry I didn’t see that.

Thank’s for making the sidebar resizeable in this build , when the sidebar has auto refresh / and add file / folder / rename etc features ( a right click menu basically ) I will cry with joy

Thanks for all the work!

That did not do the trick for me. I set it to false in the default file settings, I restarted Sublime, but it will still enable word wrap for every file I open.

This unfortunately makes the otherwise awesome new distraction free mode useless for me, since it will open a file in a really narrow column.

Distraction Free mode has its own set of settings, which explicitly enable word wrap.

To customise this you can either:

A) Edit Packages/Default/Distraction Free.sublime-settings
B) Create Packages/User/Distraction Free.sublime-settings, and add your overrides in there

B is the best option, as the Default file may be overridden when installing a new version
