When I upgrade sublime text via the patch feature from help-menu, it changes the permissions of
“c:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3”
so that ‘Users’ do not have read permissions. Thus other users (esp. non-admins) cannot execute the program.
I believe the default behaviour on windows is for it to inherit permissions from parent dir.
I use win 10. Just tested again on build 3207, though I probably didn’t check whether permissions were correct before my update.
