I am trying to update to the latest SublimeText version. Windows UAC doesn’t recognize the [signed] installer exe as coming from a known publisher.
When I check it with the DigiCert Utility, it confirms the signature is legitimate. So I’m fairly sure this is a false positive, but was hoping to get some external confirmation. And also help other affected users when they inevitably Google this and don’t find anything useful (as I did).
I found a thread on the MS forum where an unrelated Windows app [which uses the same DigiCert G4 Code Signing root] broke due to some Windows update marking it as malicious. Not clear if it’s related.
Any ideas?
