On Sublime build 3168, sometimes - not always - if Sublime is open already, it will not open another file via Windows Explorer. I tried to test whether it matters whether either (1) the file that’s open already, or (2) the new file one is trying to open, must be specifially a text file. However, the intermittent nature of the problem frustrated the test. (For, when I started testing, everything works.)
Recently I installed a program that replaced Windows Explorer as the default file manager (though later I undid the replacement, without unintalling the new file manager) - might that have caused the problem?
I am using Windows 8.1.
When the problem obtains, it is considerably annoying.
EDIT: I’ll try completing uninstalling the aforementioned new file manager (which is ‘XYPlorer’).
