Running base ST3, no plugins. Freezes immediately upon running. Restarting system and uninstalling and redownloading ST3 (both the regular and 64 bit versions) does not solve issue.

Which version of windows are you using, which version of ST3? Does ST3 freeze with high cpu utilization or not? Could there be an antivirus application interfering?

Windows 10, ST3 version 3207, 64 bit (I also tried the 32 but, same problem). cpu usage is minimal. I’m not sure about the antivirus, but I’m pretty sure it is not, considering that ST3 reports “not responding.”

Note that reinstalled ST != no plugin.
Simply reinstalling ST won’t clean settings so usually not meaningful for debugging.
I would backup the current settings and debug from a fresh state.

Which version of windows 10 are you running? You can try the portable version to make sure no plugins are being used.
