Window size / title bar on macOS 27

#1

Two minor window handling problems/inconsistencies (running on macOS 27):

  • double clicking into the title bar of a SublimeText window enlarges the window to nearly full screen size. Double clicking the title bar again, first reduces the window size a bit and then zooms to full screen size again. I would expect, that the second double click reverts the window size to the original size.

  • click the green window button on a Sublime window => the windows zooms to real full screen with a hidden title bar. Move mouse cursor upwards to reveal the title bar and click the green window button => the window gets restored to original size, but the window title (file name or “untitled”) is missing.

I can’t reproduce either of these issues on macOS 27.0. Do you perhaps have some 3rd party window management tools that might be interfering? Does this behavior happen for any other applications?

The first problem seems to be only active if you go to “System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Window title bar double-click action” and select “Zoom”. Compare the behaviour of Sublime Text with the one of e.g. Terminal.

The second problem could be caused by Themes. I have the “Halcyon” package installed and selected “halcyon” for Theme and Color Scheme.

Edit: yes, with theme “Adaptive” instead of “halcyon” the second problem is resolved.
