I posted this question before but did not get an answer. The problem has become much worse since, to the point that it’s becoming very difficult to type.
The cursor keep jumping wildly during typing, often when I pause typing and moves to various off places and it happens unexpectedly, I do not notice, I continue typing and the text appears where the cursor jumped, I have to erase it before I can continue until next jump.
Any ideas?
Does it happen in safe mode? Can you be more specific with what you mean by “jumping wildly”?

The cursor does not stay with my typing, it jumps to spots up, down, sideways and either (1) it gets stuck there and I continue to type and there is no text, so I have to return the cursor to the typing spot, or the text appears there and I have to erase it and retype.
It happens frequently enough to be more than annoying. Often a sound is emitted when it jumps.
Have no idea, never used safe mode.
I suspect it’s not Sublime, but I have not been able to find the cause, including AI. I was hoping that somebody else experienced it and might be able to help.
There’s some claim that it’s the TouchPad and to shut it off, but in my W10 version I gotta uninstall the driver and I did not want to do that without being more certain it will help.

Click on the link, follow the instructions for Windows and see if it happens in safe mode. That will rule out whether the issue is caused by your Sublime Text configuration.
I had an embarrassing experience where I was presenting to an audience from my laptop, and my wireless mouse was in my bag. Something had wedged against the mouse button in a way that meant things started jumping around wildly.
This is a long way of saying that it could be a hardware issue or something unrelated to Sublime Text. Does it happen in other apps?
