Wiki links for notes archive

I’m looking to create Wiki link in my plain text archive.

Here are my requirements:

  • I’d like to write [[my filename]] and I could open that to do go my filename.md or, if not found, open a search for the words “my filename” in Goto Anything.
  • I have multiple notes archives, which should be kept distinct
  • An easy way to create links in the first place.

This package (not in Package Control) looks interesting, but it doesn’t quite work.

Is there a better option around or should I look to improving that one?

Notedown sounds great, but I had trouble using it for the moment. Perhaps because my notes have a folder structure as well.
