I use Cmd-T (I just learned it’s an alias for Cmd-P, apparently?) all the time. Apparently this is called the “Goto Anything” command.
I’ve never been able to understand why sometimes, as you’re typing in the search field, it selects a file that isn’t the top-ranked file. There’s a ranking (visible by the numbers on the left), and presumably there’s a reason files are ranked the way they are. Then why move the focus (and at seemingly-random moments, at that) to lower-ranked files? It screws me up all the time.
