For a while, I thought this indicated Sublime Merge was hanging on loading something. But I see that it also shows up in other people’s videos.
Is this a bug, or am I just misinterpreting the UI? If it’s the latter, then I personally find this ellipsis a bit misleading.
It’s an indicator that marks the end of the list of things that’s currently being displayed in the window; if you hover over it with the mouse you should get a tooltip to that effect (although I don’t know what version that was added in).
Various bits of the interface allow you to see multiple files listed one after the other in a manner that allows you to collapse them, so the indicator can be handy to let you know that you’re looking at the bottom and there’s not something else below.
