I don’t understand function of this point of the menu. I always carry out search in all my project, and not just in the folder in which I work at present. What do I have to make that this point of the menu carried out the function?
Thanks.

The menu inserts placeholders into the “where” field. By default, it searches in <open folders>,<open files>
but can be customized.
FichteFoll, on the gif it is shown that if opposite to Where:
is <open folders>,
Sublime Text 3 carries out search in all project even if it isn’t opened any folder and any file. Thanks.
<open folders>
refers to the folders you added to the project in general, not whether they are expanded in the sidebar.
But why it is necessary <open folders>
if without it the result turns out just the same?
It seems, I understood. If I choose <open folders>
, search will be carried out according to all folders of my project, but not according to open files if they aren’t included into my project.
Thank you very much!
