Well done!

#1

I started programming in 1979 with ed and found Emacs in 1981. Nothing has ever provided the level of productivity I get with Emacs so I never made the switch - until this week. Finally someone gets it and built in the features that this old programmer has been waiting for. Can’t wait until my muscle memory is built up.

This is the best $70 I’ve spent in a long time. Can’t wait to kick the tires on ST3. Like the title says, well done!

Next I have to figure out how to get remote builds working. I’m running ST2 on a Windows machine using dynamic clearcase views. The builds are done on Linux systems that are locked down on GCC 3.4.6. So running ST2 there isn’t an option.

As i tip for you (i’m a clearcase user also) if you want to edit and highjack files you can use my plugin[1] for setting “write/read mode” on files. The other plugins i tried didnt worked well with clearcase.

i intend to publish the plugin on package control soon.
