Weird looking text cursor

So because I disliked the update I installed the Retina theme, which makes Sublime look like “Old Sublime”, but the text cursor still looks… really really weird. It does not look like a Mac OS X application. The text cursor is larger and thicker than on a normal application. This may seem like a small thing to complain about but I do spend the entire time I’m typing staring directly at the text cursor. If that looks wrong, it’s really distracting.

Is there something i can do to make the text cursor look like a text cursor of the operating system I am using?

Alternately, is there a way I can revert to the release before the new themes?

You should take a peruse through the Preferences and take note of settings that start with caret_.

seems to look normal now. thank you
