Vintage mode cursor not very visible after update

I’ve updated to the latest version of Sublime and thick cursor that was usually in the vintage mode became very non visible. It has the same color as highlighted. Is there a way to fix this / change color of vintage mode cursor other than modifying my themes? I didn’t find anything like it in the user settings.

I also noticed the block caret hard to see when I upgraded to 3200.

I was previously on build 3176 with vintage, and I noticed my default cursor in command mode was an underline.

i know most ppl prefer the block caret in command mode, but is there a way to bring back the underline cursor for the time being (since the visibility is pretty bad on 3200)
