Using autocomplete in find panel

#1

Is there a way to use autocomplete inside the Find panel?

E.g., with the same completions as self.view.window.active_view()?

If you are inside an find panel, you are inside a normal view, just with the auto-complete settings disabled. That is a special view setting file which applies to several other panels. I also would like to request this feature, but I am not sure how this could be correctly implemented.

It’s not disabled [anymore?], just hidden. In build 3207 I found out I’m able to ctrl+SPACE in the find panel to get autocomplete, which persists so long as the panel is open. Anyone know if there’s a way to have autocomplete by default?

I’m on build 3211, the ctrl + space thing isn’t working for me.

Does it still work for you?

Ah, I just realized that it’s only working because I have All Autocomplete. To speculate, maybe the find panel’s autocomplete behavior is akin to an empty file in the same project? Anyways, there’s one possible solution.

P.S. Arrow keys and enter to step through options is overridden by stepping through the find panel history, if only there were a way around that somehow.
