I’m running Sublime Text 2 on a mac OSX running mountain lion if that matters.
I lost my user-settings by installing a theme package manually. (SpaceGray) except for this new Theme info and my ignored Package List, edit: which I just noticed has new ignored packages that I did not add in there, so…what the… so bascially, it seems to have overwritten my user settings
Questions:
**1) Can anyone help me sort out what happened so I do not do this again? **
2)Is this expected behavior for a manual install of a package into Sublime Text 2?
I’m also a little confused, now, over what exactly was in that file other than non Package Settings.
Wasn’t there also a list of installed packages in this file? I do see that many, if not all, of my packages remain installed but…thought they had listed here.
Here is what I did:
I manually installing a sublime two theme called spaceGray because for some reason it wasn’t viewable via Package Install
via the instructions in: mrgeek.me/technology/tutoria … me-text-2/
When I went back and opened up my user settings, most settings were gone, except for my ignored packages list, and the new theme information was added by the install process, I guess.
Thanks for any feedback. I just want to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
