User cannot get license to work

#1

i work IT for a company we have a user that received a license for your product and is not able to get it to work. I told that to the procuremnt team that ordered the software but they insist that it is the correct code, the user is on a mac not sure if that makes a difference or not but i would like to get this resolved as soon as possible. i can supply the code but dont want to put in the post for everyone to see.

The platform that you’re on shouldn’t matter. Are you seeing errors like Sublime tells you that the license is invalid?

With the caveat that I only have experience with single-user licenses and I don’t know how different it might be for a business license, the key that you paste into the license dialog generally has to have a format such as the following. Extra line breaks or untoward lines (say if the mail program reformatted the key for you) might cause it to be not recognized.

----- BEGIN LICENSE -----
User Name
Single User License
0000-0000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
------ END LICENSE ------

If it’s a business license, the business name probably appears where it says User Name here, and it probably says Business License instead of Single User License though, if I had to guess.
