so i LOVE the new St4 so far and ive only had it launched for 10 minutes but there is one thing im confused about. Is my ST3 licence so new theres no upgrade fee or does that come later ??
I fully expected there to be some kind of upgrade fee

a simple way to test is registering your license to a portable build of ST 4 and see what happens.

If you bought your license within the last 3 years it is still fully valid. License model was changed to prepare for rolling releases, so they are valid for 3 years worth of updates.
