Upgrade license not working

Hello! :slight_smile:

Trying to upgrade my ST2 License but for some reason it does not detect my license, as shown in the link/image below.

I’ve tried to find/search for similar issues on the forum, but i was unable to find any relevant answers.

Anyone knows what’s wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :slight_smile:

Managed to get a slightly further by removing spaces/linebreaks from the license key…

However, now i get this error…
Is my license key too old? it was purchased January 2012

Have you tried getting a fresh copy of your ST2 license key from https://www.sublimetext.com/retrieve_key and using that on the upgrade page, as it seems the version you have has been tampered with (regarding the extra line breaks etc.)?

Yup i’ve tried that also, gives the “Upgrade Failed” error (as in my second post)

I tried copying the key from the email once more and now it worked.

Not sure what went wrong the first time i copied from the email.

Issue is resolved now :slight_smile:

Not sure if i need to / or how to close the thread though.
