Updating from Sublime 2 (Windows)

Hi all

How can I safely update from Sublime Text 2 to Sublime Text 3? Do I have to uninstall 2 and install 3 or is there a other way?

I don’t know about Windows, but on OS X Sublime Text 2 and Sublime Text 3 happily coexisted side-by-side.

They use different locations for their preferences, so you need to manually copy over your User package and any other package not synchronized with Package Control.

Other than that, Package Control will try to install the packages you had installed before and most of it will likely “just work”.
