Uninstalled without first removing license

So I did something stupid… I wanted to install Sublime Text 3, and I figured it would just install over ST2 and keep settings and such. Then I noticed on the installer that it said “C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3”. So I went and uninstalled ST2 to “keep it clean”. Now I’m using ST3 and I hadn’t noticed, but I just did a save that triggered the “please purchase” dialog. I am using a business license at work, and I did not “unlicense” it before uninstalling. Does that mean we have effectively lost one of our licenses or is there a way to retrieve it and remove it?

There’s no activation system, so there’s no need to remove the license key from your copy of S2. You will need to enter your license key into S3 though: it doesn’t share any configuration information with S2
