Unexpected behavier in wrap mode

#1

I do a lot of text editing with Sublime Text and I use word wrap all the time. Sublime Text is the perfect tool for my purpose but in one aspect it doesn’t behave the way users might expect: if you navigate in word wrap mode with the cursor keys to the end of one of the lines of a wrapped paragraph, you will find the caret with the next right arrow key stroke in the second position in the next line of this paragraph. Conversely, after pressing the left cursor key in this position the caret isn’t set to the beginning of a wrapped line but back to the end of the previous line of the wrapped paragraph.
This confuses me every time. No other Text Editor behaves like that.
My question: could it be changed to the common behavior? I mean, is it possible to change a setting easily to reach the (pseudo)-first position of a wrapped line with the (left and right) cursor keys - like in any other text editor?

Confirm this behavior as being a bit odd.

Would probably be worth filing an issue at https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_text/issues to make sure it doesn’t get lost. So devs can look into it.

I did it, thanks for the hint! I’m surprised that no one else is bothered by it, at least I haven’t found any complaints about.

This bothers me too, particularly because I use the Vintage package, and in Command Mode the block caret is never visually on the first character of the line, except the first line. In other words, the block caret is visually either on the last character of the previous line, or the second character of the next line.

Below is the link to the issue created by @g.Geron. Everyone, if this bothers you too, please consider upvoting it.
