Unable to use zypper repo

i rebuilt my laptop and am unable to add / use sublime-text repo.
using destructions: https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/linux_repositories.html

i get the following error, w/ or w/o trailing ‘sublime-text.repo’
“Repository ‘sublime-text’ is invalid.
[sublime-text|https://download.sublimetext.com/rpm/stable/x86_64/] Failed to retrieve new repository metadata.”
