Unable to save snippet to packages folder

Hello!

Sublime Text 2 is great - I’m running into a problem with my snippets.

I’m on OSX Yosemite and Sublime Text 2.

When I try to save my snippet, it won’t let me navigate to the correct folder (/Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2/Packages/User). It shows the correct folder for a brief instant, and then immediately navigates back to the yourname folder. Something is up with the permissions or something.

I tried reinstalling Sublime, but that didn’t work. My snippets used to work before, but now I can’t even save a new one.

Any thoughts?

Any ideas on this? Still experiencing this issue.

I’ve tried upgrading to Sublime Text 3, but the issue persists.
