Unable to run sublime 4

I have downloaded portable version and tried to run the application but some of it is not running, I am using Windows 11, and below is the detail of the event log. we request you to please check this issue. Thanks in advance and if need more detail please let us know.

Do you have an anti-virus or similar 3rd party program that may interfere with Sublime Text?

Thank you for your response and for looking into this issue.

I have one enterprise anti-virus, but not any third-party program, and recently I downloaded sublime_text_build_4152_x64 and it is working fine, I think the problem with only sublime_text_build_4169_x64

If any information is required please let us know.

Anti-virus software is often extremely fickle and has continually been a cause of crashes or other misbehavior. I suggest trying to add an exception or otherwise disabling your anti-virus for Sublime Text.

Hi @bschaaf,

Thank you for your suggestion, but I can’t disable the antivirus. I wonder why it works fine with sublime_text_build_4152_x64, but not with sublime_text_build_4169_x64? Please provide another solution besides disabling the antivirus.

That’s a question for your anti-virus vendor.

Please provide another solution besides disabling the antivirus.

  • Go through support with your anti-virus vendor and get them to fix their software (assuming they’re the cause).
  • Use a different computer
  • Use an older version until a newer version happens to work
