Unable to evaluate Sublime Text 3

#1

Hello! I am a computer science major and my friends rave about Sublime Text 3. I decided to give it a try and downloaded it this morning. When I run it, I immediately get an “Enter License” window that asks me to enter my license key below. I cannot get to the actual editor.

Is this normal? I was under the impression that Sublime Text was allowed to be evaluated for free. Please advise. Thanks!

ST2 can be evaluated free. ST3 is closed beta for purchasers of ST2.
