I’d like to delete a top-level folder in my project. When I do so it fails with the message “Unable to delete folder”. I (Sublime) have permission to delete these folders and they aren’t opened by any other software. I can delete all contents within the folder, but not the folder itself. This pattern is repeated for all top-level folders on all projects I create. The console doesn’t give me any information on why Sublime thinks it’s unable to delete the folder.

probably ST has an open handle to the folder for watching for file system notifications so it seems to be locked/in use

The other possibility is that the folder is corrupt because the drive at that point is corrupt and chkdsk must be used. This happened to me with an old Windows 8 backup folder created when I re-installed Windows.
