The location of your customized keymap is displayed in the title bar. You might not find the files in Explorer as AppData is a hidden folder.

As you installed ST as normal Windows application, all settings are stored in your user profile folder, which you should have read/write access to by default.

You don’t need to add an empty key for goto_definition as the second line will overwrite the binding for “f12” already.

All *.sublime-keymap files are merged beginning with the one from the Default.sublime-package followed by files in Packages and finally your User file. So everything defined in the right panel will overwrite anything defined in the Default or any Package.

If you run ST as a different user than “Martin” those settings are not applied.

Hello,

ok - i have found the Default (Windows).sublime-keymap in my personal User Folder.
C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Sublime Text 3\Packages\User\Default (Windows).sublime-keymap
I logged in with my Martin Account. I am very very sorry, but it does not work. The file ist the correct one where i have changed the bindings…

I am very sorry. I installed Sublime Text now 3 times. It do not work. I am very sorry.

What can i do… :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Not sure. Seems everything correct. Have the same file working here. Don’t know why it seems not do be picked up by ST on your box.

Not exactly sure what your problem is, but FWIW, key bindings are usually changed by selecting Preferences -> Key Bindings in the main menu and then changing the keybindings in the User panel on the right-hand side, The Default (left-hand) panel is read-only and cannot be changed, You may need to expand the panels to change the bindings.

It must be f12. Key binding indentifiers are case-sensitive.

Install the PackageDev package with custom highlighting for key binding files to find errors like theses more quickly.
