Hi, I’ve added the dev channel to my Ubuntu 18.04 installation and ran sudo apt update && sudo apt install sublime-text. Opened using ‘subl’ and registered, then checked the version…3210, so I’m really confused. I thought dev channel should be on at least build 3211, or is it not for Linux builds? Will the stable channel just also be 3210?
Ubuntu 18.04 Dev channel only at 3210?

3211 is just the stable release of the 3210 dev release. They’re practically identical, except that a stable release requires rebuilding the application, hence the newer build number.

By the way, if you do care about the version number, you can manually edit the source list to add both the stable and the dev repo to apt. apt should be able to pick whichever the latest.

Thanks, maybe that should be made more clear on the website? Solved my problem either way
