Two cursors while editing Python on Windows

#1

Sometimes while editing Python a second cursor appears on the display. Changes are made at both cursor locations. If I close and restart sublime, there are still two cursors with the same behavior. If I close that file and open it again the problem goes away.

I have only noticed this in Python and only (I think) on Windows and only on a laptop with a horrible keyboard, which makes me suspect that I might be unintentionally hitting a key or mouse click and this is a feature that I am accidentally turning on (as opposed to a bug).

Thoughts?

Maybe you just accidentally pressed ctrl + left-click

You nailed it. Did not even know that was a thing! Makes sense with the keyboard layout and the big old mouse thing in the base.

Thanks very much. That solved it!

FTR, pressing ESC should result in only one (the topmost) cursor.
