Every time I start ST3 I get a pop up window “Package Control The package ‘Theme - Monokai’ is not available”.
How do I make it go away?
I tried Remove the package from the listing found in Preferences → Package Settings → Package Control → Settings - User. (answer to similar qu) but that didn’t work.

Check for the Theme in “in progress” AND “installed_packages” sections in your User Package Control settings. That got me.
Preferences -> Package Settings -> Package Control -> Settings User
Also you want to make sure that you have another color scheme set in your Sublime User settings, otherwise it will keep falling back on the default package that does not exist.
