The trial version of Sublime is currently not time limited, so your trial didn’t expire. It also has the same functionality as the licensed version as well, so buying it won’t solve your problem for you (though if you like it and intend to use it, you should do that anyway).

Can you provide more details on what’s not working for you?

It sounds like perhaps you’re trying to do something like type html and press Tab to expand out to a sample page, which will only work if Sublime knows the file that you’re working on is HTML. If that’s the case you should use Set Syntax: HTML from the command palette or save the file as an html file so that Sublime knows what sort of file it is.

When I try to open Sublime Text, I get an error message that reads: "unable to read project/C/Program Files/sublime text 3/Register.solution.sublime-project.

thank you for your reply.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen that particular problem before, but based on the text of it, it sounds like you perhaps saved a project into the installation folder of Sublime (or tried to) and now it can’t be found.

Do you still get a Sublime window after that error appears? If so, you can probably clear it up by creating a new window with File > New Window and then closing the one that’s causing the problem (make sure you keep a note of any files and folders that it contains so you can open them again).

If you don’t get a window and Sublime just refuses to start, you may need to take extra actions.
