I am very, very new to LaTeX, so please, whoever answers this, I need simple, step by step instructions—thank you!
What I want to do is incredibly simple. I just want to change the color of text with the tex document itself. That is, within Sublime Text 3, I want to change the color of the text that I am typing up as the tex file. I DO NOT want to change the color of the text created in the build that becomes the pdf file. For example, \xcolor and \color as packages do that. That’s not what I am looking for. I know I can change color schemes, but none of them have what I want. Nearly all use plain white for standard typing text, and I want to make it green. How do I do that? Again, I know my question is so simple that is probably why I can’t find a solution; all the stuff I search for talks about \xcolor and stuff.
Lastly, if someone wants to give me step by step instructions for actually creating a color scheme, I would appreciate it. None of the ones I’ve come across are really cool (for example, I’d love to have green typing text and other bright, neon colors for packages and footnotes and all that stuff. I was directed to this website—http://colorsublime.com/—which again has cool schemes, but I’d love to make one on my own so that I could have the colors I want. Thanks!
