Terribly beginner help

#1

I want ST3 to remember cursor and folds. I put the BufferScroll folder into the Packages folder and restart Sublime Text, but no luck.

I’m sure I’m doing something simple wrong, but have spent hours trying to figure this out with no joy.

Please, can somebody clever put an end to this frustration?

cheers

When sublime starts up, you can pop open the console and see if there are any error messages. When you say you “put it into the packages folder”, it sounds like you are not using package control. If that’s the case, make sure you got the st3 branch of the plugin.

Thank you! I didn’t notice the ST3 branch download. Now working beautifully. Cheers!

Yes, but do install @wbond’s Package Control:
sublime.wbond.net/installation

You can use it to install and maintain the plugins that it knows about (most plugins are in Package Control). This takes care of updating as well as figuring out which version/branch to use. And, you can also add custom repositories/packages.
