Tab Multi-Select real-world examples?

I’m reading about Tab Multi-Select and I’m struggling to understand how is that useful. Probably I don’t have the proper use case for it or I don’t understand the point, but are there any real-world examples on how this feature can be utilized?

I use it daily. Any time I want to reference a file while still viewing/editing another file I can simply multiselect the other file.
