Although I’m happy about the first update since almost a year, I dont really like the new look of the syntax highlighting. Do you guys know any way to get the old syntax-coloring back?

Similar to Color scheme changes .
To answer the question: if you want to get the old coloring back you will need to take the syntax file from previous build, copy them in your package user directory with a different name and set them as default for the language you want to change.
