Syntax highlighting not working after updating to Big Sur

Hello, I just upgraded macOS to Big Sur and it seems to have broken syntax highlighting. The strange thing is that the minimap appears to be syntax highlighted correctly, but the main view is not. See:

Can you be more specific? What font are you using?

Source Code Pro, and when I change it back to the default syntax highlighting works again… thanks! I wonder why it stopped working for that font, though.

d’oh, I should have read more closely. Installing the new version of the font fixed it. thanks again
