Sync ST 3 across platform WITHOUT any external software?

Hey there,

I am trying to sync my complete ST3 settings (installed packages in Package Control, package settings, current theme, etc.) across some machines (Windows ans Linux).

On some machines I am not allowed to install external software like Dropbox.
Is there any way to sync ST3 only through a plugin? Maybe use a git repo for this, ST3 connects to it on its own?

There was a plugin for this but was discontinued earlier this year.

I use a git report for syncing my whole Package/User folder, convenient enough.
