Sync my custom wp theme changes

#1

I’ve created my own (bare bones) theme for my wp stie.
The site is currently running on a local drive only.

in the wp dashboard, I’ve made changes and customized the theme a bit, like added pages and customized the menu to point to various pages.

When I open sublime to make other changes, none of the changes I’ve made in wp are visible. So, none of the pages I’ve created are listed, etc. When I make a change in sublime, it immediately reflects in wp and on the site.

How do I sync (save) in the reverse? meaning, when I make a change using wp, how do I get it to show in the theme on my local drive?

This isn’t a Sublime specific question, but editors on your local computer (e.g. Sublime Text or Notepad) only have access to files stored on your computer.

If you’re editing files remotely then you need to be using some external tool that syncs the changes both ways, so that changes in one place are reflected in the other.

What are you doing to get changes from Sublime to immediately sync up to your site? Whatever you’re using for that needs to be the thing you use to take it the other way.
