Supress "error loading syntax file" dialog

#1

How to ignore loading syntax file dialog popup windows? They’re a bit annoying when you test a plugin by turning it on/off, and that plugin has the syntax definition that becomes unavailable, and you get several of those dialog box popups.

I’d like Sublime to just silently ignore those errors or at most write to the status bar/console

I’m not aware of any way to block error popups; I would guess because that would also block your ability to know that there is a problem, since many people don’t know that the console even exists.

Those many people can simply not block the popups (though even they we’ll continue to see status bar)

FWIW, disabling packages via Package Control: Disable Package first assigns “Plain Text” syntax to all open files, which would be affected.

Unfortunately this workaround turns into another annoyance - the syntax isn’t restored when the plugin is reenabled
