Support for IBM PC Character Set?

I have inherited a character-based legacy application that uses ascii line drawing characters in the old IBM character set.
Is there an encoding or other method that can emulate those line and box drawings in the source? I have not found anything as yet. Mainly this would improve readability.

Well, it would help if I had noticed the DOS encoding, which solved my issue.
