Sublimetext3 is taking a long time to load, spinny wheel, eventual load

#1

Hi there. Not sure if this is a SBLME3 thing or a problem with my machine.

Running Windows 10. Not having this problem with anything but sublime.

When opening any files (.html, .css, .js, anything) the window opens but it is grayed out, like it’s hung or crashing. If I click into the window I get the whited out “not responding.”

It takes about 20 or so seconds for it to complete.

This just started happening today. A few days ago I cleared my CMOS. Other apps are behaving normally.

Sublimetext3 version 3.2.2

Let me know if you need more info. Thanks!

That doc is a little confusing, am I supposed to remove the cache folder or a “data” folder? I see a cache folder in AppData/local/Sublime Text 3/Cache, but I’m not seeing any “data” folder. Thanks!

The folder isn’t directly named Data unless you happen to be running a portable version of Sublime; the Data folder the folder that contains Packages, Installed Packages, etc. You can find it by using Preferences > Browse Packages and then going up a folder level; the folder you end up in is the Data folder, and is the folder you should rename to something else temporarily.

This video has more information on how this works:
